Use Shemore as a base while you have trips to Inveraray, Stirling, Glasgow or beyond. Relax in the garden and watch the world go by from spring lambs to the magnificient colours of Autum and the beauty of Winter. Explore the different walking areas on the farm - a gentle stroll up the Glen Road to the Finlas Reservoir, top of Shantron Hill or a 10 mile ridge walk round the farm, climbing to 2275ft at the highest point. Discover our rich and varied past - site of an Iron Age Fort on top of a glacial drumlin, the 100ft deep gorge where a Colquhoun leapt to safety from the MacGregors after the Battle of Glen Fruin, the cup and ring marked stone from the time of the Druids.
