Application for Membership of SaLL

I wish to have a website representing my business on the Stayatlochlomond.com Website. My business has been Quality Assured by VisitScotland or I have applied and am waiting to be assured. I agree to pay, in advance, the first year's subscription of £75. This fee entitles me to:

  1. a 30 word description of your business which may be invoked at the first stage criteria based search,
  2. a 100 word extended description with up to 5 photographs,
  3. an integrated link to my main web site
  4. the hosting of my main website if developed by Red Paint Multimedia
  5. (Note; the maintenance, hosting services and charges of any web site not currently on stayatlochlomond.com, or developed by Red Paint Multimedia are the responsibility of the new member and are not included in the subscription fee.)

The subscription fee is payable by cheque made out to stayatlochlomond.com.  Send to the current treasurer -Ishbel Jackson, 91/93 Sinclair Street, Helensburgh, G84 8TR

After the first year, an annual subscription fee of £60 is payable to stayatlochlomond.com. The annual subscription fee entitles the member to items 1 to 4 above. Note: - The subscription fees may change from time to time as agreed at an Annual General Meeting.

It is strongly recommended that all members have a full and detailed website with enquiry / booking form, details on how to be located etc. Members without a full site will be at a disadvantage compared with the other members and may not get enquiries and bookings. If a new member does not have an independently run and supported website, then Red Paint Multimedia will provide a site of up to 5 pages for the sum of £85 (including VAT).

Member's Responsibilities

  1. to provide all text and photographs for the 30 word and 100 word descriptions,
  2. to load this information onto the SaLL website using the administration tools provided.
  3. to review your site regularly and ensure that it represents an up to date description of your business and to update availability on a regular basis (we suggest at least once per fortnight.  (Failure to do so will put you at a disadvantage as the search algorithm is based on current availability)
  4. if you have a website not created by Red Paint, to ensure that it is maintained and hosted by the site provider,
  5. to participate in the running of the SaLL Site. (The SaLL Site is run by the members for the members),
  6. to market and promote your own site to the major Search Engines and keep a record of enquiries coming from your site,
  7. to pay your subscriptions promptly on receipt of an invoice.

Statistics on the number of enquiries received by individual businesses shall be collected by site and may be made available for examination by all members.
